In the early morning hours of January 3, the U.S. attack on Caracas unleashed indiscriminate bombing and gunfire on residential areas and civilian infrastructure. Bullets tore through people’s homes while families were asleep inside. In the face of U.S. imperialist aggression, Venezuelans across the country rose up in protest against the attack on their sovereignty and the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.
